The idea for Power Hour came to being when our co-founders saw the scale and impact of ‘the "Pret-Run Pandemic" in the workplace.
Saddened by watching people run to grab a sandwich only to eat whilst multitasking at their desk, we agreed there had to be another way to inject more fun into the working day, without being any less productive.
Convinced that there was an opportunity to help people to make more of their day, without interfering with an already long list of work and personal commitments, the plan to launch 'Power Hours' - creative breaks of less than 60 minutes was born.
Bringing our experience as a busy city worker and psychologist together, we’ve made it our mission to get as many people as possible, to take a creative break daily, without compromising busy diaries.
Power Hours are curated and hosted by talented creatives, artists, therapists, makers and coaches who are equally passionate about helping people to do more of what they love.
A Management Consultant and a Psychologist determined to start a creative wellbeing revolution.
Sharisse was browsing through LinkedIn and stumbled upon Rhiannon's profile and her mission The Lunchtime Revolution. The two met in their lunchbreaks, started Power Hour remotely during lockdown, and the rest is history!
A creative workplace where employees feel valued and are encouraged to share ideas, be themselves and engage in a healthy and productive work routine.
